Some trivial facts about me.

Here I am... after a very long time, entering the world of Push-button publishing as they call it. I wish I could post something really catchy...But nothing pops in my mind. So I present to you some crap...
[An inspired post]

A few trivial facts about me,

I can do a 'bottoms up' in a 200 ml Pepsi bottle.

My mom calls me a loafer but she never knows that I admit it silently.

I do confess that I had a strong crush on Eric Bana.

I've never been good at mental calculation.

I simply hate driving vehicles.

I often self-pity myself. I can't beat that.

I fell easily for the pompous nature of Mr. Darcy [P&P] but failed to feel the love of Edward Cullen[Twilight] for Bella Swan.

I could eat Lay's potato chips even when my stomach is so full.

According to my cousins, I cook the most delicious noodles in the whole world. ;)

I love Regency Period's dress style. But it'd be too odd to get unnoticed.[Thats why I didn't try]

I always bother about silly things which are good for nothing.[Esp. this blog entry]

I miss my intimate friends, I wish I could see them daily.

:)

Simple, yet poignant lyrics (II)

I've got a knack of discovering pleasant songs, excellent movies, endearing books very late in time, sometimes even after it's fad fades away. One such song is Perunthil nee enaku... The beauty of this song is that it relates to some very simple, unnoticed but pleasing moments in a our day to day life. The duet is of two people who sing about  what they mean to each other. There are some cute imperfections in Madhushri's tamil pronunciation but the male singer makes up for all that. Duh! Why do I even have to annotate the lyrics? It speaks for itself. ;) Perunthil nee enaku jannal oram Pin vasal mutrathil ne tulasi madam Vidumurai natkalil pallikoodam Vilayattu pillaigalin chella kobam Aalilla nalliravil ketkum padal Anbe anbe neeye (hmmm....) Quote Wonderment (I)

I'm totally sick of examinations and stuff. World's worst stressors are exams. I've always had this opinion right from my childhood. Hmmm... So to get a break I was running through my old memories and thoughts. One such is the admiration for this quote, "Sometimes people are beautiful. Not in looks. Not in what they say. Just in what they are." --Markus Zusak The quote itself is amazing. Reminds me of so many things. And note that Markus Zusak's wonderful book called 'The Book Thief' which was a good read. Laziness blocks me from writing more. ;)

Modern Parenting and how to gear up for challenges.

As a youngster you might have had an idea of parenting, like how you would want to raise your future child different from your mother's way of child rearing. But when you fail tremendously in the act and seek your mother's, grandmother's help, you have passed as a modern day parent facing innumerable difficulties bringing up your little munchkin. There is certainly no one particular way of parenting which could be deemed as the best. You must follow a realistic type which suits your own family and lifestyle. Old-fashioned parenting can never be shunned from your entire agenda, because at various situations it actually makes sense, not to mention common sense. Yet, insensible in some ways compared to the contemporary methods. There is no village There is an old saying, “It takes a village to raise a child”, meaning in olden days, it takes a whole community of different people who interact with children in order to raise and make sure your children grow in a ...
