The Age Factor

Does anyone think that I write in an elderly way? Because I have no clue why some people misinterpret my age.  First of all, let me tell you my looks are not in anyway linked here to this topic. :P The count has gone to 3, the people who thought that I am elder than what I really am.
Let me substantiate, the other day my cousin showed my blog to her friend and was told that her friend didn't believe that I am in my early 20's...blow me!!... why would she think so?? Ok, and another day my blogger friend [we know each other through a mutual friend] thought that I was her friend's[the mutual friend] akka or somebody...SHOOT me!! Even my classmate thinks so...
I went back through my posts once again and felt ill at ease. And you know "I am my own worse critic",  so I guess my posts didn't reflect my youthful nature ;)....nangalum youth than nangalum youth than...heheh! What am I supposed to do just ramble something hyperactively to prove my age? Anyway if I'm looked at that way it's not going to create ripples[except for this post ;)]. After all differences in perception are common.
P.S - I'm supposed to be reading for my examination right now. Isn't that sad. :( Anyway happy to be back to my blogger a/c on Gilly's b'day.

  6. Very true :) very true :) I have to say yo appear old :)

    3 reasons :

1 ) your brain to hand timing is utter slow ( typing speed ) , guess yo think more !! Which youth doesn't :D
2 ) your approach and attitude towards youth activity is negative :)
3 ) yo blog what your mind says, rather than heart does..
that makes it too affirmative and appears done on strict constrains :D

Quote Wonderment (I)

I'm totally sick of examinations and stuff. World's worst stressors are exams. I've always had this opinion right from my childhood. Hmmm... So to get a break I was running through my old memories and thoughts. One such is the admiration for this quote, "Sometimes people are beautiful. Not in looks. Not in what they say. Just in what they are." --Markus Zusak The quote itself is amazing. Reminds me of so many things. And note that Markus Zusak's wonderful book called 'The Book Thief' which was a good read. Laziness blocks me from writing more. ;)

Have you also ever wondered?

Have you also ever wondered?????.... What will happen if you pray God sincerely for something and another person prays Him sincerely for the opposite? How do the ice-creams jump by themselves and fall graciously in all the Amul ads? Why on earth does Vijay act in the same storyline even when he knows that he's the punchbag for the current youth? Why do the girls want to be of Zero-Size even though it looks the ugliest and physically so repulsive? How the hell we complete books of 700 pages in a single night before the exam, while we can't do that during the whole year?(be that a novel)   That during the examination days when you sleep you get early morning dreams in which too you'll be reading, so that you think that you're revising and all the same continuing to sleep until 8 and wake up to find a lump in your throat...[This terrible thing happens everytime with me ;)] P.S - The list may have a few additions in the near future.

2 States - Oh please, no!

I don't know why I chose to read '2 States' over 'The Subtle Knife'. My copy of 'Subtle Knife' is sleeping in the shelf. I wish I had finished it off instead of reading this one. M' Okay let me tell why this book was so insipid, [beware of spoilers hehe!] Possible reasons why I picked up this book: 1. Thought it would be a light-read. 2. It involved IIM A 3. Curiosity to know the speciality of Tamil girls 4. Heard it is a slapstick comedy [ which is not, in any way] Top reasons why I disliked it: 1. Cliched plot with stale scenes. [Ithellam nanga 'Poovellam Kettupar' la ye pathutomm, Chetan!!] 2. Making fun of South-Indians went overboard. [where Punjabis were never hurt in any dialogues, a very feeble mocking was clear] 3. Nothing less than a Bollywood drama, too filmy! 4. Totally predictable. 5. Ananya herself [there're are a multitude of reasons to hate her, which I won't enumerate here] 6. The feeling of reading his p...
